SpotPeaks vs Kalodata
These two tools get compared because both answer some version of what is selling right now, but they are not the same category and pretending otherwise would waste your money. Kalodata is a TikTok Shop analytics platform for people whose storefront is TikTok Shop: it estimates what products actually sold, which creators drove the sales, and how much came from ads rather than organic video. SpotPeaks is an ad radar plus a guided launch for people running their own store, and as of September 2026 our live-ad data is Facebook-led. So the honest headline is this: if you are selling on TikTok Shop, Kalodata is measuring your market and we are not. If you are running a Shopify or WooCommerce store off paid ads and you need to know whether a product survives its own economics, that is the thing we built.

What Kalodata is
Kalodata is a TikTok Shop analytics platform: it reads TikTok's own commerce surface and reports estimated revenue, units sold, creator performance, video and livestream results and ad-driven versus organic sales, across a marketed 200 million product records, 200 million plus creator profiles and 400 million video and livestream records in roughly 15 to 19 TikTok Shop markets, sold on a Starter and a Professional plan with a 7-day no-card trial.
What Kalodata does well
- Sales data, not just ad data. This is the big one and it deserves to go first. An ad existing only proves someone spent money. Kalodata estimates revenue and units sold on TikTok Shop, so you can see what is actually moving rather than what is merely being advertised. No ad-spy tool, ours included, can tell you that.
- Creator and affiliate intelligence. Kalodata indexes a marketed 200 million plus creator profiles with performance by product and category, plus creator contact details on the Professional plan. For a TikTok Shop seller, whose growth is mostly affiliate recruitment, that is the core workflow and nothing on the dropshipping-tool side matches it.
- Video and livestream analytics. Watermark-free video downloads, script transcription with AI-assisted rewriting, and livestream monitoring that shows which streams sold and what they did. It also separates ad-driven sales from organic, which is exactly the split a TikTok Shop seller needs and almost nobody else reports.
- Genuine multi-market coverage. Roughly 15 to 19 TikTok Shop markets including the US, UK, Germany and the Southeast Asian countries, with category rankings you can compare across countries. For a European seller, coverage of the EU TikTok Shop markets is a real advantage over US-centric tools.
- A 7-day free trial with no credit card. You can form your own opinion on the data quality before paying anything, which is more than several tools in this category offer.
Where SpotPeaks differs
- Different platform, and we will not fudge it. Kalodata is TikTok Shop only: no Facebook, no Instagram, no Google. SpotPeaks ingests Facebook and TikTok Shop, but as of September 2026 all 69 of our platform pages carrying live-ad data are Facebook pages and none are TikTok pages. So if TikTok is your whole business, Kalodata is the tool and we are not competing for that job today.
- Different customer. Kalodata serves TikTok Shop sellers, brands, agencies and affiliates with a storefront inside TikTok. SpotPeaks serves a beginner running their own store who has not yet worked out whether a product survives ad cost, payment fees, EU duty and shipping.
- Kalodata reports; it does not decide for you. It is a superb measuring instrument and it stops there. SpotPeaks continues past the number into real per-sale economics, a plain-language read on whether to test a product, EU-warehouse sourcing and an 8-phase guided launch.
- Price and metering. Kalodata's entry plan is around $45.90 a month for 50 searches a day, 10 tracked shops and a 90-day data window; the plan most serious users end up on is roughly double that. SpotPeaks is $39 a month with no search caps and no credit system, after a 14-day free trial.
- Kalodata's numbers are scraped estimates and reviewers report they can diverge from what a seller sees in their own TikTok Shop back office. SpotPeaks publishes no revenue or spend estimates at all, deliberately: we report what we can observe (ads running, days running, price) and then do arithmetic you can check yourself.
Kalodata pricing in 2026
Start with a warning that is itself useful: Kalodata's pricing is harder to pin down than most, and you should check it yourself rather than trust any comparison page including this one. Checked on 21 September 2026, kalodata.com blocked our automated read of its pricing page, so the figures below come from third-party sources updated in 2026, and those sources disagree. Prices also differ by region and are higher again through the mobile app stores, where a Brazil basic tier appears near $35.90 and a US professional tier near $129.99. Treat the table below as the shape of the pricing, not a quote.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free trial | $0 for 7 days | A 7-day trial with no credit card required, consistently reported across 2026 reviews. There is no permanent free plan. Given the pricing spread and the accuracy questions below, actually using this trial is the sensible move rather than reading about the tool. |
| Starter | ~$45.90/mo, ~$38.30/mo annual | Around 50 searches a day, roughly 10 shops or creators tracked, about 100 detail-page views a day, a 90-day historical data window and no sub-accounts. Annual billing takes about 30 percent off, near $460 for the year. Some sources list this tier at $49.99 monthly and $499 annually. Reviewers consistently describe the Starter limits as tight for anyone researching daily. |
| Professional | ~$99.90/mo, ~$83.20/mo annual | Around 250 searches a day, up to 500 shops or creators in results, about 500 detail pages a day, a 180-day data window, one sub-account and creator contact details in the region of 1,000 a month. Several 2026 sources report this tier rising to $109.99 monthly, or $1,099 a year. This is the plan most full-time TikTok Shop sellers and agencies end up on. |
| Enterprise | Custom | Quoted individually. Adds API access, fuller data access and consultation, with unlimited or near-unlimited search and tracking. Third-party estimates put it in the several hundred dollars a month range, but there is no published list price. |
Two things to weigh before you pay. First, the entry plan's 90-day data window is much shorter than Kalodata's marketing implies: the platform advertises long historical depth, up to hundreds of days, but how far back you can actually look is set by your plan. If seasonal history is why you are buying, price the Professional plan, not the Starter one. Second, the real comparison is not $45.90 against $39, because these tools do different jobs. For context on our side: SpotPeaks is $39 a month after a 14-day free trial, with no free plan, and the Academy, the calculators, the Demand Check and the Chrome extension need no account at all. Check Kalodata's own pricing page before subscribing, and check it in your own country, because the regional spread above is real.
Is Kalodata worth it in 2026?
If you sell on TikTok Shop, yes, and the reason is the data type rather than the data volume. Almost every tool in the dropshipping research category, ours included, indexes advertisements. Kalodata indexes commerce: estimated revenue, units sold, which creator's video drove them, whether the sale came from paid traffic or organic. That is a different and better signal for the question most sellers are actually asking, and it is why TikTok Shop sellers pay for it.
If you do not sell on TikTok Shop, the answer flips hard. Kalodata has no Facebook, Instagram or Google data, will not price a product for you and will not tell you whether your margin survives your ad cost. A Shopify dropshipper buying Kalodata is buying a very good map of a country they are not selling in.
The honest caveat that appears repeatedly in 2026 reviews is accuracy. Kalodata's figures are scraped estimates, not verified seller data, and sellers have reported discrepancies between Kalodata's numbers and what their own TikTok Shop back office shows. That does not make the tool useless: relative signal (this product is outselling that one, this creator converts better) survives estimation error far better than absolute figures do. Use it to rank things, not to forecast your revenue to two decimal places.
Kalodata is TikTok Shop only, and our side of that is Facebook-led
Most comparison pages use a platform gap to claim a win. We cannot. Kalodata does not cover Meta at all, which is a genuine limit if Facebook is where you buy traffic, but SpotPeaks does not currently cover TikTok in the way this page's readers would assume either. Our radar ingests TikTok Shop as well as Facebook, and TikTok is on the roadmap, but as of September 2026 every one of the 69 platform pages on our site carrying live-ad data is a Facebook page. Zero TikTok pages have enough data to publish.
So the fair statement is not that we beat Kalodata on platform coverage. It is that the two tools sit on opposite sides of a gap: Kalodata reads TikTok's commerce surface and we read Facebook's advertising surface, and neither of us is the right purchase for someone whose job is the other one. If you want TikTok ad spying specifically, as distinct from TikTok Shop analytics, neither tool is what you want and you should look at a dedicated TikTok ad-spy product.
What we do have is breadth of niche rather than depth of platform: 692 products across 106 niches as of September 2026, each one arriving with its economics, its saturation read and a next step attached rather than as a row in a table. The block below reads live from the radar on every build, so it is current whenever you happen to be reading this page.
Sales data against ad data: which signal is actually stronger
This is the part worth understanding before you choose, because it is the real difference and it cuts against us. Ad data proves spending. Sales data proves selling. If a tool can credibly tell you a product did significant revenue last month, that is strictly more information than telling you the product has ads running, and Kalodata is on the better side of that line for the market it covers.
Ad data is not worthless, though, and the reason is duration. An advertisement running continuously for a long time is being funded by someone who can see their own numbers, and nobody pays for a losing campaign for a year. That is the one signal in ad data that genuinely carries information, and it is the signal we surface hardest. As of September 2026 the longest single ad still running on the SpotPeaks radar is 1,304 days, in pet supplies, with a baby-products ad at 940 days and a makeup ad past 1,000 days close behind. Nobody funds three years of advertising on a product that loses money.
The honest ranking, then: for what is selling on TikTok Shop, Kalodata's estimated revenue beats our ad duration. For what is being profitably advertised on Meta, ad duration is the signal available and Kalodata has none of it. And for the question that decides whether a beginner's store survives, which is whether your particular price, cost, fee and shipping numbers leave anything over, neither tool's dataset answers it. That question is arithmetic, and it is the one SpotPeaks is built around.
Kalodata in Europe: the market list matters more than the tool
For European sellers this is the section that decides it, because TikTok Shop stopped being a US and Southeast Asia story recently. Spain and Ireland opened in late 2024, Germany, France and Italy followed in March 2025, and on 15 June 2026 TikTok Shop launched in Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland, taking it to ten European markets, with a Sell Across Europe registration that covers several at once (TikTok Newsroom). Over 100,000 European businesses had joined across France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Ireland, and GMV through those four markets in the 90 days to 9 July 2026 was estimated at just under 499 million euros (ecommercenews.eu and EuroShop).
Kalodata covers the major European TikTok Shop markets and lets you compare category rankings between countries, which is a real edge over tools that quietly only index the US. If you are a German or Dutch seller trying to judge whether a category has depth in your own market rather than in the US, that is exactly the question Kalodata can answer and most of this category cannot.
Where SpotPeaks is European is different and narrower: not in market coverage but in the arithmetic. We build the EU low-value import duty into the margin math instead of ignoring it, we rank suppliers by shipping speed and flag EU-warehouse stock, and the guidance assumes an EU customer who will refund rather than wait three weeks. Those are the things that kill European beginner stores, and they are invisible to any analytics platform, Kalodata included. If you are selling on TikTok Shop in Europe, the coherent answer is Kalodata for the market read and our free calculators for the landed-cost arithmetic, which cost nothing and need no account.
What Kalodata's plan limits actually feel like day to day
The Starter plan is where most people land first and where most of the complaints come from. Around 50 searches a day, roughly 10 shops or creators tracked and about 100 detail-page views a day sounds generous until you spend an evening researching, at which point a normal session of comparing a category, opening the top shops and checking a handful of creators can use a meaningful slice of the daily allowance. Reviewers describe the Starter tier as frustrating for early-stage sellers, and the pattern is consistent enough to treat as real rather than as one person's bad day.
The limit that surprises people more is the data window. Kalodata markets long historical depth, and the underlying database genuinely has it, but the Starter plan lets you look back 90 days and Professional 180. If seasonal analysis is your reason for buying, working out what sold last Q4 so you can prepare for this one, Starter will not do it and you are really pricing Professional. Budget for the tier that answers your question rather than the tier on the front page.
SpotPeaks has no search caps and no credit system, which sounds like a clean advantage and mostly is not one: our radar is deliberately small, 692 products as of September 2026 rather than a database to trawl, so there is far less to meter. Kalodata rations access to an enormous dataset, we ration nothing on a short curated one. Different products, not a trick on either side.
Do you need both Kalodata and SpotPeaks?
For most people, no, because the overlap is smaller than the comparison implies. Pick by where you sell: if your storefront is TikTok Shop, buy Kalodata, and if you run your own store on Meta traffic, Kalodata holds no data about your channel at all.
There is one genuine both case. A seller running their own store who is also opening a TikTok Shop, which is an increasingly common European move now that ten EU markets are live, has two real jobs: judge the TikTok Shop category (Kalodata) and work out whether the unit economics survive on their own site with EU duty and shipping (us). That is about $85 a month combined at list prices, which is a serious cost to carry on a store that is not yet profitable, so stage it: get one channel working before you pay to measure the second.
The honest limit applies to both tools and we will not dress it up. Kalodata cannot make a product sell and neither can SpotPeaks; we cannot guarantee you a profit, and most beginners lose money regardless of tooling, because how your ads perform with real money live is in your hands and dropshipping is genuinely hard. What good data does is remove the unforced errors: pricing with no margin room, shipping that takes three weeks to an EU customer, and launching with no plan. Those kill more first stores than bad product picks do.
Who each is for
Kalodata: Choose Kalodata if TikTok Shop is where you sell or where you want to sell: you need estimated revenue and units rather than ad counts, you are recruiting creators and affiliates, you run or study livestreams, and you want category rankings across TikTok's markets. For that job it is the specialist and it is the better tool, full stop.
SpotPeaks: Choose SpotPeaks if you run your own store off paid ads, mostly Facebook today, and your real problem is not finding a product but knowing whether its numbers work: margin after fees and EU duty, breakeven ROAS, fast EU stock, and a step-by-step launch. You are buying the decision layer, not a bigger dataset.
FAQ
How much does Kalodata cost in 2026?
Checked on 21 September 2026: Kalodata's own pricing page blocked our automated read, so these figures come from third-party sources updated in 2026 and they disagree with each other. The most commonly listed prices are a Starter plan around $45.90 a month and a Professional plan around $99.90 a month, each roughly 30 percent cheaper billed annually (about $38.30 and $83.20 a month). Other 2026 sources list Starter at $49.99 and report Professional rising to $109.99 a month or $1,099 a year, and app-store and regional prices are higher again. Enterprise is custom-quoted. Verify on kalodata.com in your own country before subscribing.
Does Kalodata have a free plan or a free trial?
A 7-day free trial with no credit card required, reported consistently across 2026 reviews. There is no permanent free plan. Given how much the published prices vary and the accuracy questions raised by reviewers, using that trial to check the data against something you already know is the right first step.
Does Kalodata cover Facebook or Instagram ads?
No. Kalodata is TikTok Shop only: products, creators, videos, livestreams and ad-driven versus organic sales inside TikTok's commerce surface. There is no Meta or Google data of any kind. If Facebook is your traffic channel, Kalodata has nothing about it and you need a different tool.
Is Kalodata worth it for a beginner dropshipper?
Only if the beginner is selling on TikTok Shop. For a beginner building their own Shopify or WooCommerce store off Meta ads, Kalodata's dataset covers a channel they are not using, and the Starter plan's 50 searches a day and 90-day window are a real constraint on top of that. The thing that sinks most first stores is not a shortage of data, it is per-sale economics that never worked, and no analytics platform reports on that.
Does Kalodata work for European TikTok Shop sellers?
Yes, and this is one of its stronger arguments. Kalodata covers roughly 15 to 19 TikTok Shop markets including the UK, Germany and other EU countries, with category rankings you can compare across them. That matters more in 2026 than it did: TikTok Shop reached ten European markets after Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland opened on 15 June 2026, so the European category data is worth reading rather than a rounding error.
Is Kalodata's data accurate?
Treat it as good estimation, not ground truth. Kalodata's figures are derived from scraping TikTok's public commerce surface, and 2026 reviews report sellers finding discrepancies between Kalodata's numbers and their own TikTok Shop back office. The practical approach is to use it for relative comparisons, which product is outselling which, which creator converts better, and not to plan a budget around an absolute revenue figure. Every tool in this category that publishes revenue estimates has the same caveat.
Is SpotPeaks a Kalodata alternative?
Not really, and we would rather say so than take the click. They are different tools for different channels: Kalodata is TikTok Shop analytics with estimated revenue, creator and livestream data, and SpotPeaks is a Facebook-led ad radar plus margin math, EU-stock sourcing and a guided launch for people running their own store. As of September 2026 all 69 of our platform pages with live-ad data are Facebook pages, so we are not a substitute for TikTok Shop analytics. If you want a genuine Kalodata alternative, compare it against FastMoss, Shoplus or EchoTik, which play the same game.
Comparison written to be fair and accurate as of 2026. Competitor features and pricing change - always check Kalodata’s own site for the latest before deciding.
