How ad cost is estimated
Three levers turn spend into sales: CPM (what you pay per 1,000 views), CTR (the share of viewers who click) and your store conversion rate (the share of clicks that buy). Budget ÷ CPM gives impressions, impressions × CTR gives clicks, and clicks × conversion gives sales — so budget ÷ sales is your estimated cost per sale (CPA).
