Alternatives roundup

Best Sell The Trend alternatives in 2026

Sell The Trend is well reviewed. The reasons to leave are specific: the TikTok gate, the Lite plan with no ad finder, or paying for five jobs when you need one. Here is which tool does each job, at checked prices.

The short answer

Sell The Trend is not a bad tool, and it is worth saying that before listing ten things to use instead. It holds a 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 1,244 reviews as of September 2026, which is one of the best records in this category. Most people who search for an alternative are not escaping a broken product. They are running into one of three specific things: TikTok ad research is locked to the $99.97 Pro plan, the cheapest Lite plan has no Facebook ad finder at all, or the all-in-one dashboard is more than they need.

So the right alternative depends on which of those is your reason. The quick picks:

  • You want TikTok ads without paying $99.97: PiPiADS (TikTok is the core product on every tier) or Winning Hunter Standard at $79.
  • You want the biggest Facebook ad archive: AdSpy, $149 a month flat, no TikTok.
  • You want competitor Shopify sales tracking: Dropship.io, from $39 a month.
  • You want to spend as little as possible: Niche Scraper (free plan, Pro about $199 a year) or Dropispy (free plan).
  • You sell on TikTok Shop: Kalodata, which tracks TikTok Shop sales rather than ads.
  • You mainly want imports and order automation: AutoDS, which is a fulfillment tool first.
  • You have found products but do not know if the numbers work: SpotPeaks, $39 a month after a 14-day free trial. It is our own tool, so read that entry with that in mind.

Why people look for a Sell The Trend alternative

We checked Sell The Trend’s pricing page on 28 September 2026. Three plans: Lite at $29.97 a month ($19.97 billed annually), Essential at $49.97 ($32.97 annually) and Pro at $99.97 ($66.64 annually), with a free trial and no free plan. The structure is where most of the searches for alternatives come from.

The TikTok gate. The TikTok Viral Ads Finder and the TikTok Shop Products Finder are both Pro-only. If TikTok is your channel, and for many beginners chasing cheap reach it is, the real price of Sell The Trend is $99.97 a month, or about $800 a year on annual billing. Several tools below include TikTok ads for less.

The Lite plan is missing the ad finder. The $29.97 headline price does not include the Facebook ad explorer, which is the feature most people buy an ad-spy tool for. The realistic entry point for ad-driven research is Essential at $49.97.

Breadth you may not use. Sell The Trend bundles product research, store intelligence, a supplier network, a store builder, AI video ads and push-to-store fulfillment. That is real value if you use it. If you only want one of those jobs done well, you are paying for the rest. Reviewers also note, fairly for every tool in this category, that the product scores are a starting point you still have to validate.

None of that is a flaw so much as a design choice. It just means the useful question is not “what is better than Sell The Trend” but “what does the one job I need, at a price that fits”.

1. PiPiADS: for TikTok ads without the Pro-plan price

PiPiADS is the most direct answer to Sell The Trend’s TikTok gate, because TikTok ads are what it is built around, on every tier, with Facebook coverage added. PiPiADS’s own site did not show prices when we checked, so the figures come from Affmaven (December 2025): Basic at about $49 a month, Advanced at about $99, with roughly 30% off annually and a trial of 500 credits with no card required.

Where it beats Sell The Trend: TikTok ad search, filters and creative browsing at half the Pro price. Where it does not: no store builder, no supplier network, no fulfillment. It is a research tool only. We also cover a pattern of billing complaints in our SpotPeaks vs PiPiADS comparison, which is worth reading before you enter a card.

2. Winning Hunter: Facebook and TikTok ads plus store tracking

Winning Hunter’s homepage lists Basic at $49, Standard at $79 and Enterprise at $249 a month, with 15% off quarterly and 40% off yearly, and a “free, no credit card” start. The catch mirrors Sell The Trend’s on a smaller scale: Basic covers TikTok Shop only, and TikTok ads start at Standard. At $79 that is still about $21 a month less than Sell The Trend Pro for the TikTok ad layer.

It suits someone who wants ad spying and Shopify store tracking without fulfillment. Full detail in SpotPeaks vs Winning Hunter.

3. Minea: multi-network ad spying, with a pricing caveat

Minea is the most established ad-spy alternative in Europe, strong on Meta ads with an ad-to-store view that links a creative to the shop behind it. Its pricing page, checked 28 September 2026, lists Starter at $49, Premium at $99 and Business at $199 a month, with lower quarterly prices. Affmaven (January 2026) lists Business at $399 instead, and gives annual prices of $34, $69 and $299 a month, so check at checkout.

TikTok is the part to verify yourself. Minea’s own pricing page labels TikTok ads “coming soon”, while several 2026 reviews say TikTok ads start on Premium. We could not resolve that from the outside, and we would rather say so than pick the convenient answer. More in SpotPeaks vs Minea.

4. Dropship.io: if what you really want is competitor sales data

Dropship.io’s pricing page lists Basic at $39, Standard at $59 and Premium at $99 a month, or $26, $34 and $49 a month billed yearly, with a free trial on every plan. Its strength is Shopify store and product sales tracking: pick a store and watch what it sells. Every tier also includes a TikTok Shop product library and a creator library, limited by credits.

It does not list a TikTok ad library, so it does not solve the TikTok ads gap directly. The honest caveat with any sales tracker is that the numbers are estimates, and beginners tend to plan budgets around them. See SpotPeaks vs Dropship.io.

5. AdSpy: the biggest Facebook archive, and nothing else

AdSpy is one plan, $149 a month, which its site calls an introductory offer. No free trial, no annual discount, no TikTok. What you get is the largest searchable Facebook and Instagram ad database in the category (the site claims more than 211 million ads) with very deep search by ad text, comments and landing page.

It is an expert’s tool. If you run Facebook ads seriously and research is your bottleneck, it is hard to beat. If you are starting out, $149 a month before your first ad is a large fixed cost. Details in SpotPeaks vs AdSpy.

6. Niche Scraper: the cheapest way to do broad research

Niche Scraper has a real free plan and a Pro plan that costs about $199 a year, roughly $16.60 a month, which makes it far cheaper than Sell The Trend over a year. Its own site showed no prices when we checked, and the monthly Pro figure is disputed: RevenueGeeks (July 2026) says $69, other 2026 reviews say $49.95. The annual figure is consistent across sources, as is a 7-day money-back guarantee.

Pro includes an AliExpress product scraper, a Shopify store analyser, a daily hand-picked list and an ad spy covering TikTok and Facebook. The trade-off is data freshness and depth, which reviewers flag. See SpotPeaks vs Niche Scraper.

7. Kalodata: if you sell on TikTok Shop, not a Shopify store

Kalodata is a different kind of tool. It tracks TikTok Shop products, creators, videos and livestreams by sales, which matters if TikTok Shop is your storefront. Its site returned an error to our check, and the third-party figures disagree: Creatify (26 September 2026) lists Starter at $49.99 on the US App Store and Professional at $99.99, with large regional differences, while other 2026 sources give $45.90 and $99.90. There is a 7-day trial with no card.

It is not an ad library, so it does not replace Sell The Trend’s TikTok ad finder for a Shopify seller. More in SpotPeaks vs Kalodata.

8. AutoDS: if the part you liked was push-to-store

If Sell The Trend’s appeal for you was importing products and fulfilling orders rather than research, AutoDS is the closer match. AutoDS’s prices did not load on its page, which currently advertises a 3-day trial for $0.99 and 25% off annual billing. Affmaven (December 2025) lists Import at $26.90, Starter at $39.90 and Advanced at $66.90 a month, with prices varying by selling platform. TikTok ad spying is a separate add-on at $14.97 a month.

Research is not its strength, and it is not trying to be. See SpotPeaks vs AutoDS.

9. Ecomhunt and Dropispy: the budget picks

Ecomhunt’s pricing page lists Basic at $279 a year, Pro at $468 and Suite at $588, which works out to $23, $39 and $49 a month on annual billing. ProductLair (2026) reports a small free plan and a 30-day money-back guarantee. It is built around hand-picked products, which is beginner-friendly, but every subscriber sees the same picks, so they saturate. No TikTok ads. See SpotPeaks vs Ecomhunt.

Dropispy is a Facebook ad spy with a genuinely usable free plan. Its site refused our connection, so the prices come from 2026 third-party reviews: Premium at about $29.90 a month and Business at about $249.90. No TikTok ad library. See SpotPeaks vs Dropispy.

10. SpotPeaks: if the problem is the numbers, not the list

This is our tool, so here is the entry written to the same standard as the others, weaknesses first.

What it does not do. No fulfillment, no push-to-store, no AI video render, no sales estimates, and a smaller database than Sell The Trend by a wide margin. As of September 2026 all of our live-ad niche pages are Facebook pages and none are TikTok pages. If TikTok ad research is why you are leaving Sell The Trend, SpotPeaks does not fix that today, and PiPiADS or Winning Hunter will serve you better.

What it does. It curates products from live ads and records how long each ad has actually run, then does the part most research tools leave to you: margin after payment fees, breakeven ROAS, EU duty and VAT, whether there is EU-warehouse stock, and an 8-phase launch plan from a found product to launch day.

The SpotPeaks radar currently tracks 5461 products with live ads across 155 niches, each with how long its ads have been running.

Price: $39 a month after a 14-day free trial. There is no free plan. The calculators, the saturation checker, the Academy and the Chrome extension need no account. The full head-to-head is at SpotPeaks vs Sell The Trend.

How to choose: match the tool to the job you are stuck on

Every tool on this list finds products that are already being advertised. That part is close to a commodity now. What differs is the job each one does after that, so start from where you are stuck:

  • “I cannot see what is running on TikTok.” PiPiADS first, Winning Hunter Standard second.
  • “I want to copy what a working store does.” Dropship.io, or Niche Scraper’s store analyser on a budget.
  • “I need deep Facebook creative research.” AdSpy, or Minea if you also want other networks.
  • “I sell on TikTok Shop.” Kalodata.
  • “I want imports and orders to run themselves.” AutoDS.
  • “I have candidates but no idea if they make money.” SpotPeaks, or at minimum our free profit simulator.

Pick one. Two research subscriptions on a first store is the kind of fixed cost that eats the test budget before the ads get a fair run. At Sell The Trend Pro prices, a year of the tool is about $800 on annual billing, which is a meaningful share of what many beginners have for ads.

When staying on Sell The Trend is the right call

If you use the fulfillment, the store builder and the research together, Sell The Trend is probably still the best value for you: replacing it would mean an ad spy plus AutoDS plus a store builder, and that stack costs about the same or more. The same applies if you are on Essential, you only run Facebook ads and you are happy with the data. The strong review record is real. Switching tools is not a strategy, and a new dashboard will not fix a product with a thin margin.

What no tool on this list can tell you

Every tool here, ours included, shows you products that are selling for someone else. None can tell you the product will make money for you, at your price, with your ad costs and your shipping times. The most useful signal we have found is not a score but ad longevity: an ad that has run for years proves demand, and also proves the field is established.

As of September 2026, the longest-running ad on our radar was in pet supplies at 1,304 days, and makeup and baby products both had ads past 900 days. A product whose ads started last week is a very different bet from one advertised for three years, whichever tool surfaced it. Here is the pet supplies niche read live:

Browse the pet supplies radar or the baby products Facebook ads, then run a candidate through the product saturation checker before you commit a test budget. For the full method, see how to find winning products.

The verdict

There is no single best Sell The Trend alternative, because it does five jobs and each alternative does one or two of them. For TikTok ads, PiPiADS. For Facebook depth, AdSpy. For competitor sales, Dropship.io. For the lowest cost, Niche Scraper. For TikTok Shop, Kalodata. For automation, AutoDS. And if your real problem is knowing whether a product’s numbers survive ad cost and EU shipping, that is what SpotPeaks is for. No tool on this list, including ours, can guarantee a profit.

Next step: pick the one job you are stuck on, try that tool’s free plan or trial, and put your first candidate through the breakeven ROAS calculator before any ad money moves.

FAQ

What is the best alternative to Sell The Trend in 2026?

It depends on why you are leaving. For TikTok ad research without paying for Sell The Trend's $99.97 Pro plan, PiPiADS (about $49 a month, TikTok on every tier) is the most direct swap. For the largest Facebook ad archive, AdSpy at $149 a month. For competitor Shopify sales tracking, Dropship.io from $39. For the lowest cost, Niche Scraper, which has a free plan and a Pro plan of about $199 a year. Prices checked 28 September 2026.

How much does Sell The Trend cost in 2026?

As of 28 September 2026 its pricing page lists Lite at $29.97 a month ($19.97 billed annually), Essential at $49.97 ($32.97) and Pro at $99.97 ($66.64), with a free trial and no free plan. TikTok ad research is only on Pro, and Lite has no Facebook ad finder.

Is there a free alternative to Sell The Trend?

Yes, with limits. Niche Scraper and Dropispy both have free plans, and Winning Hunter lets you start without a card. Free tiers are restricted and are best used to judge the data before paying. SpotPeaks has no free plan: it is $39 a month after a 14-day free trial, though its calculators, saturation checker, Academy and Chrome extension need no account.

Which Sell The Trend alternative includes TikTok ads on the cheapest plan?

PiPiADS, which is built around TikTok ads on every tier. Winning Hunter includes TikTok ads from its $79 Standard plan. Minea's own pricing page labelled TikTok ads coming soon when we checked, while some 2026 reviews say they start on Premium, so confirm that one directly. SpotPeaks currently has no live TikTok ad pages.

Is Sell The Trend legit?

Yes. It holds a 4.7 out of 5 Trustpilot score from 1,244 reviews as of September 2026, and it is a long-running platform. The usual reasons to switch are the plan structure and fit, not trust: TikTok research is Pro-only and the all-in-one bundle includes a lot a beginner may not use.

Is there an alternative that also does fulfillment like Sell The Trend?

AutoDS is the closest for imports, order automation and inventory syncing, with TikTok ad spying as a $14.97 a month add-on. Most research tools on this list, including SpotPeaks, do not fulfill orders at all.

Should I use two product research tools at once?

Not on a first store. Research tools overlap heavily, and a second subscription comes straight out of the ad budget that actually tests products. Pick the one that fixes your specific bottleneck and add another only when you can name what the first cannot do.

Found a product? Check the numbers before the ads

SpotPeaks shows how long each product’s ads have run, then runs margin after fees, breakeven ROAS and EU duty before you spend. $39 a month after a 14-day free trial.
